Female, doctor of literature, Professor. She has been teaching in Broadcasting and Hosting major in the Department of Broadcasting and Television, School of Communication, East China Normal University since December 2003. Graduating from the Director Department of Beijing Film Academy, she has worked as a reporter and producer in Phoenix Satellite TV, CCTV and other well-known media organizations, and has rich experience in front-line media practice. She has obtained a master's degree in literature from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom, a doctorate degree from Shanghai Theatre Academy (Theater and Chinese Traditional Opera) in 2015. From September 2012 to September 2013, she went to Brown University in the United States as a visiting scholar.

Her publications include monographs Ideal model in social performance and An Introduction to Broadcasting, and has published dozens of core journal papers including “Vanguard Drama in the Context of Consumer Culture”. She also presided over a number of provincial and ministerial projects including those of Shanghai Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science and Pujiang Talents, and won the 2015 East China Normal University Teaching Contribution Award.

She has also made many achievements in art practice. She once served as the artistic director of the musical drama " North Side of Suzhou River", the designated performance of Shanghai International Art Festival; and the general director of the 8th Shanghai Student Television Festival (subproject of Shanghai TV Festival) in 2015, and has won a lot of praise.
