Zhao Luping, born in Qingdao, Shandong Province, doctor. In 1997, she was admitted to the school of journalism, Fudan University, majoring in broadcasting and television journalism. In 2001, she was directly promoted to a postgraduate majoring in journalism. In 2004, she obtained the qualification of an MD-PhD. In 2007, she obtained the doctor's degree in communication. In 2013, she was supported by the visiting scholar program of the China Schorlarship Council to study in Annenberg School of communication, University of Pennsylvania in the United States for one year. In 2015, she went to Oxford in the United Kingdom to study professional English. Currently, she is an associate professor of Journalism Department of school of communication, director of Wisdom and Creative Media Laboratory, and was selected into Shanghai Pujiang talent plan in 2015.

Research interests include crisis communication, network public opinion, data news, etc. In related fields, she has successively presided over 8 major projects including National Social Science youth projects, Ministry of Education Humanities and social science youth projects, key commissioned projects entrusted by Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission , key commissioned projects entrusted by Shanghai Municipal Propaganda Department, Shanghai party development key projects, East China Normal University teaching reform research projects, and participated in more than 10 national and provincial level projects such as National Social Science major projects. She has published 1 monograph, 1 translation and 2 textbooks. She has published more than 20 academic papers, and 5 consultation reports were adopted by Shanghai Development and Reform Commission, Shanghai Municipal Propaganda Department and other departments. She was awarded all-round good students, outstanding graduates of Fudan University, outstanding teaching team members of the "poverty alleviation relay program" of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, outstanding teachers of East China Normal University, outstanding undergraduate tutors, and the new media of broadcasting and entertainment.
