Meng Di, Associate Professor of the Department of Journalism, School of Communication, East China Normal University. She obtained a master’s and doctoral degree from City University of Hong Kong, and a bachelor's degree from Beijing Normal University. She is also a visiting scholar at Duke University in the United States, and she is selected for Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program.

Research interests: New media communication and data journalism.

She has presided over provincial and departmental level projects such as the youth projects of the foundation for humanities and social sciences of the ministry of education “Data Journalism Production Research in the Context of Media Convergence.” She has taken part in the Major Project of the National Social Science Fund of China(NSSFC) and was funded by China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. She has published more than ten core journal papers, many international conference papers, one academic monograph, one translation book, and has compiled one textbook. She set up undergraduate and graduate courses, and presided education reform projects of East China Normal University, etc.
