Liu Ying

Title: Doctor of History in Fudan University; Associate Professor, School of Communication, East China Normal University; Visiting Scholar of Department of Communication, New York University; Master Supervisor for students of Communication, and for students of Publication.

She has worked in the publishing industry in Shanghai for many years. Throughout the years, professor Liu is responsible for book editing and researches on the history of publishing houses, new forms of Internet publishing, etc.

Her courses include Publishing Introduction, Book Review, Journaling and Publishing Practice, Media Events and Popular Culture Research. Professor Liu is also the PI ((principal investigator) of the Ministry of Education's general planning project "Printing Publishing and Online Publishing Paradigm Conflict, Integration and Transformation Research", which has won the 4th China Excellent Publication Award (Published Scientific Paper Award).
